At this magical and mysterious START, sing along with Horace the Wizard that Wasn’t as he shares some amazing insights into the mysterious world of wizardry. Find out about the extraordinary necklace of raindrops in the storytelling performances and take a tour of Magic Object to inspire your own creation of a magical wearable object.

The Gallery’s START program encourages South Australia’s youngest artists, inspiring creativity and curiosity in young art lovers at the monthly START days.

Suitable for 5-10 year olds. Parent/carer supervision required. Bookings not necessary.

Imagine being the only kid in the class who could control the weather, find out about the extraordinary necklace of raindrops, and what happens when it falls into the wrong hands.

Weave your magic by threading, knotting and drawing charms to create your friendship band.

The Wizard that Wasn’t!
Come and hear the story of the world’s worst wizard, Horace Horatio Hagglethorpe. Instead becoming a famous wizard in the family tradition, Horace goes on to become the local mailman and after constantly losing letters and getting lost he is replaced by an owl.
