Imagine another world in The Studio…

Melbourne-based artist David Booth, aka Ghostpatrol, has been drawing and painting for the past decade, dividing his practice between the ephemeral world of street-based art and the rather more permanent world of fine art and gallery representation.

For the 2018 Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art: Divided Worlds, watercolour and mural works by Ghostpatrol have been installed on the walls of the Gallery’s Atrium as well as its restaurant, Art Gallery Food + Wine.

Taking its cue from the artist’s fantasy landscapes on display in the exhibition, The Studio will be populated with all manner of brightly hued hybrid creatures and surreal characters aimed at evoking a daydream world.

The Studio is proudly presented by the James & Diana Ramsay Foundation.
